Combining the characteristics of rubber and plastic, TPE's are easily processed and can be used in many areas, including overmolding onto plastic substrates for soft grip applications, asphalt modification for roads and roofing, pressure-sensitive adhesives for tape and labels, footwear, and medical devices. Other uses include various industrial and automotive applications such as air bags, tubing and seals.
